We create a safe space. You can share your story if you’d like—but you don’t have to.
We explore how you want to feel and guide you into deep relaxation.

You’ll imagine watching your memory from a safe distance—like watching yourself watch a scene.
This helps your brain reprocess the experience so it no longer feels overwhelming.

We check in, notice what’s shifted, and gently anchor your new sense of calm and confidence. You’ll leave with tools to stay grounded and hopeful.
When something traumatic happens, like a birth that felt frightening or out of control, your brain stores it as a threat.
The amygdala, your brain’s alarm system, goes into high alert. It records the fear and suspends other functions.
The hippocampus, which normally files memories away, shuts down. So the event doesn’t get stored properly — it stays “live.”
The prefrontal cortex, which helps you think clearly and regulate emotions, also goes offline. That’s why you might feel overwhelmed or irrational. Instead of becoming a past event, the trauma stays active — linked to sensory fragments like sounds, smells, or feelings. These fragments can be triggered later, causing flashbacks, anxiety, or numbness.
But your brain is designed to heal. The Rewind technique helps it reprocess the memory safely, so it no longer feels threatening. You don’t have to relive it. You just need a calm space to let your brain do what it was meant to do — restore peace.

The 3 Step Rewind is a gentle, guided process that helps you release the emotional charge from traumatic birth or perinatal memories. It doesn’t erase your story — it helps you reclaim it with peace, clarity, and strength.
No. This process is designed to feel safe and contained. You won’t be asked to re-experience the trauma — instead, we work with memory in a way that feels empowering and emotionally restorative.
Each session is around 90-120 minutes, and the full process usually unfolds over 2–3 sessions.
